Positives

The Delonghi DD50p Pt is one of the most reliable dehumidifiers on the market, and its construction is sturdy and well built. A major plus point is the units pump which is powerful enough to pump water upwards against gravity to your drainage area, an means you dont have to constantly empty the tank. All the reviews for the Delonghi DD50 pt were very positive and nearly everyone agreed that this unit was well worth the price, and really does do what it says it will. Maintenance is really easy as it comes with washable filters. There is also an ANTI FROST system to stop the unit freezing up in low temperatures.

Negatives

There were a few minor issues though; the fan is extremely loud so is more suited for areas where noise levels are not an issue, such as a basement.

Some reviewers reported that they could not get the fan to switch off; this seems like a common fault with the unit.
