The Frigidaire FAD704DUD 70 pint dehumidifier is an efficient energy star rated dehumidifier which in our opinion is the best unit in its class at pulling moisture out of the air. The Frigidaire FAD704DUD 70 pint is an upgrade to the 70 pint FAD704TDP which was one of the most popular and best-selling dehumidifiers on the market.

It has the some great features such as washable microbe filters which makes maintenance really easy, strong castors which make the unit easy to manoeuvre, it also has an automatic shutdown feature which stops the unit once the bucket is filled. Over 50% of reviewers commented on how quite the unit is when compared to other units they have used.

Bad Points

Some reviewers mentioned that the unit produces a lot of heat.

Over 60% of reviews said that the drainage hose does no work so the bucket gets full and you have to empty it manually, (which really defeats the purpose of having a continuous drainage hose). The drainage hose is slightly above the water level and works on gravity so it means you have to tilt the unit slightly to get the water to drain. Some users have reported that the hose that comes with the unit is too thin for the water to drain through the valve.
